Suspect Charged, Wanted in Shooting at 4707 Siegel Street
April 14, 2021 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the shooting of a man and a juvenile male at 4707 Siegel Street about 10 p.m. on April 2.
The suspect, Frank Barrera (H/m, 31), is charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and felon in possession of a weapon in the 176th State District Court. He is accused in the shooting of Jorge L. Elizondo, 33, and his son, 15, who were transported to an area hospital and are expected to survive their wounds.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives F. Lee and V. Habukiha reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and learned Mr. Elizondo and Barrera had gotten into an argument regarding a female they both dated. During the argument, Barrera pulled out a gun and fired shots into a crowd of people outside a residence. Elizondo and his 15-year-old son were struck by the gunfire. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported Elizondo and his son to the hospital. Barrera fled the scene.
