October 29, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 3939 Synott Road about 10:10 p.m. on Wednesday (October 28).

The victim, Jamil Juliene Kanneh, 26, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives W. Huff and J. Nguyen reported:

Officers responded to a report of a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address.  Upon arrival, they found Houston Fire Department paramedics attempting to treat Mr. Kanneh, who sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased a short time later.

Witnesses stated they heard numerous gunshots in the area prior to finding Kanneh lying on the ground.  A Dodge Charger of unknown color was seen fleeing the area.
