October 12 2020 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a female at 9085 State Highway 225 at 1:50 p.m. on Sunday (October 11).

The identity of the female victim, 19, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Sturdivant and Detectives C. Sharp and E. May reported:

Officers responded to a shooting at the above address after witness reported a vehicle traveling westbound on SH 225 was struck by gunfire.  The victim, a passenger in the vehicle, was struck.  She was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced deceased.

At this time there is no known suspect or motive.
