November 12, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the fatal crash at 8900 Airport Boulevard that occurred about 7:55 a.m. on Wednesday (November 11).

The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant L. Ross and Officer L. Ho reported:

The victim was operating a red Honda motorcycle westbound on Airport Boulevard at a high rate of speed when he ran the red light at Hansen Street and struck a blue Subaru WRX.  The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver of the Subaru was not injured.  

The driver of the Subaru did not show signs of intoxication and was questioned and released.

The investigation is continuing.
