July 9, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 2536 West Holcombe Boulevard about 11:20 a.m. today (July 9).  

The victim, 40, was transported to an area hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening wounds.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives S. Hall and J. Russell reported:  

The victim was walking to his vehicle in a parking lot at the above location when a known suspect appeared from behind the vehicle and shot him.  The suspect fled the scene prior to officers' arrival.  Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to the hospital.
