UPDATE: Suspects Charged, Wanted in Stabbing at 10254 Tangiers Street
July 9, 2020 - Charges have been filed against two suspects wanted in the stabbing of a woman that occurred at 10254 Tangiers Street about 11 p.m. on May 20.
The suspects, Akeira Keivone Baptiste (b/f, 23) and Akira Shavone Banks (b/f, 26), are charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 179th State District Court. Both are accused in the stabbing of Carolyn Baker, 31, who was transported to an area hospital.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers S. Ragsdale and A. Graf reported:
Ms. Baker was sitting in her car outside her house at the above address when approximately three to four vehicles surrounded her. At least two people, with which she has had issues in the past, assaulted Baker. During the incident, one of the suspects stabbed her. Baker then left in her vehicle to go to her mother's house for help.
Further investigation identified Baptiste and Banks as the suspects in this case. Warrants for both women were issued last Thursday (July 2).
