Investigation into Fatal Crash at 2800 Westheimer Road
February 3, 2020 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 2800 Westheimer Road about 7 p.m. on Saturday (Feb. 1).
The identity of the deceased male victim, 25, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rodriguez and Officer E. Clark reported:
A black Lincoln MKX was traveling northbound on Virginia Street and turning left onto Westheimer Road when it was struck by a black Kawasaki motorcycle, operated by the victim, traveling eastbound on Westheimer. Paramedics transported the motorcyclist to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The male driver of the Lincoln was questioned and released with no charges filed at this time.
The investigation is continuing
