August 14, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male found at 8500 Langfield Road about 2:45 a.m. today.  

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant S. Murdock and Detective K. Heaverlo reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a person down call at the above address and found the victim lying in the street with at least one gunshot wound.  Houston Fire Department paramedics were on scene and pronounced the victim deceased. 

At this time, there are no known witnesses or suspect(s).
