Investigation into Shooting at 7100 Southwest Freeway
April 22, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 7100 Southwest Freeway (South U. S. Highway 59) about 9 p.m. on Tuesday (April 21).
The victim, 17, was transported to an area hospital in an unknown condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers L. Kauffman and C. Bowling reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to an area hospital at the above address regarding a male with a gunshot wound to the shoulder. The victim stated he had been shot by an unknown rival gang member near the Southwest Freeway service road and Bellaire Boulevard. The victim was then transported by private vehicle to the hospital.
At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
