Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 12201 Beechnut Street
April 22, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 12201 Beechnut Street about 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday (April 21).
The victim, Aliyah Green, 19, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives T. Tyler and B. Evans reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a crash at the above address and found two vehicles were involved. One of the drivers, Mr. Green, was transported to the hospital where staff discovered he had a gunshot wound.
During the crash investigation, patrol officers discovered spent shell casings on the ground and called HPD homicide investigators to the scene.
Details on the shooting are not known at this time.
