Investigation into Fatal Crash at 6000 Rookin Street
September 03, 2019 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 6000 Rookin Street about 5:10 p.m. last Wednesday (August 28).
The male victim, 58, was transported to a Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital where, on August 31, he was pronounced deceased. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD South Gessner Patrol Division officers reported:
According to witnesses, the suspect was operating a black Honda motorcycle southbound at the above address when he ran a stop sign and struck a tan Toyota Camry.
The Camry's driver remained at the scene and was questioned and released.
There are no charges in this incident, as the investigation is continuing.
