Investigation into Fatal Crash at 4200 North Sam Houston Parkway East
October 18, 2019 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 4200 North Sam Houston Parkway East about 6:45 a.m. today.
The identity of the female victim, 36, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division L. Ross and Officer L. Ho reported:
The victim was driving a gray Honda Civic eastbound at the above address when the driver of a black Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck failed to control speed and rear-ended the Honda. The Honda then struck a retaining wall and the Chevrolet truck rolled over. A third vehicle, a gray Chevrolet Malibu then struck a retaining wall.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was seriously injured.
No charges have been filed at this time as the investigation is continuing.
