Investigation into Shooting at 8400 Broadway Street
October 17, 2019 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 8400 Broadway Street about 10:05 p.m. on Wednesday (October 16).
The victim, Christopher Fields, 21, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers V. Habukiha and S. Ragsdale reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex at the above address. A preliminary investigation determined Mr. Fields was walking to his girlfriend's apartment when he was approached by two unknown suspects who shot him several times. The suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction. Paramedics transported Fields to the hospital.
At this time, there is no known motive for the shooting.
