Investigation into Shooting at 3000 Alabama Street
November 27, 2019 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 3000 Alabama Street about 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday (November 26).
The victim, 27, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers M. Combs, A. Barker and J. Hero reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found a male shot in both legs. A preliminary investigation indicated the victim and four females were walking along the crosswalk at Alabama Street and Ennis Street when a vehicle drove by and shots were fired by a back seat passenger. The male was the only one struck by the gunfire. Paramedics transported him to the hospital.
The vehicle is described as a 2017 to 2019 black, four-door Chevrolet Impala with tinted windows. there is no suspect description at this time.
