Investigation into Fatal Crash at 7400 North Freeway
November 14, 2019 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 7400 North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) service road about 8:25 p.m. on Wednesday (Nov. 13).
The identity of the male victim, 67, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Benavidez and Officer J. Broussard reported:
The victim was driving a maroon Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck northbound at the above address when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a metal barrier. Paramedics transported the victim to Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Doctors believe the victim might have suffered a medical episode prior to or during the crash.
The investigation is continuing.
