Investigation into Shooting at 8310 Gulf Freeway
June 24, 2019 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man that occurred at 8310 Gulf Freeway (South Interstate Highway 45) service road about 3:20 a.m. on Sunday (June 23).
The victim, Charles Wolford, 37, was transported to an area hospital.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers G. Black and A. Hernandez reported:
Officers responded to a shooting call at a bar at the above address and found Wolford suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Witnesses stated Wolford was outside his truck in the parking lot when an unknown suspect(s) began shooting and struck Wolford more than one time. Another unknown male, who was with Wolford, was struck in the hand but left the scene prior to officers' arrival.
