Investigation into Fatal Crash at 265 El Dorado Boulevard
June 3, 2019 - Houston police are investigating a fatal auto-pedestrian crash at 265 El Dorado Boulevard about 10:10 p.m. on Sunday (June 2).
The identity of the female victim, 2, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Benavidez and Officer J. Hill reported:
The driver of a white Kia Sorrento was moving her vehicle into an apartment complex parking lot at the above address when her two-year-old child came running out of the apartment and was struck. The child was transported to Clear Lake Regional Hospital where she was pronounced deceased. The female driver, 28, was determined not to be impaired and was questioned and released.
