Investigation into Fatal Crash at 8700 South Dairy Ashford Road
February 22, 2019 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 8700 South Dairy Ashford Road about 2:50 a.m. today.
The identity of the male victim, 29, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Benavidez and Senior Police Officer J. Broussard reported:
The victim was traveling southbound in a gray Nissan Titan pickup truck on South Dairy Ashford Road when, for unknown reasons, he lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree. The victim died at the scene.
No other persons or vehicles were involved in the crash.
The investigation is continuing.
