Suspect Arrested, Charged in Shooting at 6936 Apache Street
April 30, 2019 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the shooting of a man at 6936 Apache Street about 9:20 p.m. on Sunday (April 28).
The suspect, Candice Collins (b/f, 26), is charged with aggravated assault of a family member in the 184th State District Court. She is accused in the shooting of Brandon Stewart, 31, who was transported to an area hospital where he was treated and released.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers L. Kauffman and A. Hernandez reported:
Collins and her boyfriend (Mr. Stewart) got into an argument while in their home at the above address. At some point during the argument, Collins shot Stewart. Paramedics then transported him to the hospital. Collins was taken into custody by responding HPD officers and subsequently charged for her role in the incident.
