Investigation into Fatal Crash at 8900 Cook Road
April 22, 2019 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 8900 Cook Road about 4:05 p.m. last Friday (April 19).
The male victim, 22, was transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Gonzales and Officer E. Clark reported:
The victim was operating a burgundy Yamaha motorcycle at a high rate of speed southbound in the 8600 block of Cook Road when he struck the rear of a gray Jeep Grand Cherokee and then a light pole near the above address.
The investigation is continuing.
