Investigation into Shooting at 5601 Royal Palms
September 17, 2018 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a juvenile male at 5601 Royal Palms about 8:25 p.m. on Saturday (September 15).
The victim, 16, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers G. Black and S. Ragsdale reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found the victim had been shot in the shoulder. Further investigation determined a silver vehicle was seen driving by when the rear passenger rolled down the window and fired multiple shots toward the victim. The driver then fled southbound on Royal Palms toward Griggs Road.
The vehicle is described only as a silver four-door car.
