Investigation into Fatal Crash at 1300 Blalock
October 22, 2018 - A woman critically injured in a crash that occurred at 1300 Blalock around 12:35 a.m. on October 14 has died from her injuries.
The identity of the victim, 85, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant G. Lopez and Officer K. Hookfin reported:
The victim was passenger in a red Ford F-150 pickup truck traveling northbound near the above address. For unknown reasons, the vehicle failed to maintain a single lane, left the roadway and struck a tree on the east side of the road. The victim, the driver and one other passenger were transported in unknown conditions to Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital. Doctors pronounced the victim deceased on Saturday (October 20).
The investigation is continuing.
