Investigation into Fatal Crash at 1304 Gessner Road
October 19, 2018 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 1304 Gessner Road about 8:15 p.m. on Thursday (October 18).
The male victim was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant F. Briones and Officer J. Crisler reported:
The driver of a white BMW 535 was traveling northbound at the above address when he struck a male pedestrian crossing Gessner against the walk signal. The driver, 16, fled the scene without rendering aid. He and a family member later returned to the scene where he was interviewed by investigators.
Currently, there are no charges in this case, as the investigation is continuing.
