Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 2960 West Sam Houston Parkway South
October 4, 2018 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the fatal shooting of a man and a woman in an apparent murder/suicide incident at 2960 West Sam Houston Parkway South about 12:15 a.m. on Wednesday (October 3).
The identities of the deceased man, 29, and woman, 23, are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Meek, Detective T. Andrade and Officer H. Horne reported:
A man and woman were found inside a room at a hotel at the above address. Both had been shot and pronounced dead at the scene. A toddler with the couple was found wandering around the hotel after the incident.
Autopsy results will assist investigators in determining whether the suspect was the man or the woman.
