Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man that occurred at 7555 Bellfort about 11:55 p.m. on Tuesday (May 22).

The victim, Demetrius Horsley, 21, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

HPD Major Assaults Unit Detectives J. Roberts and G. Black reported:

Officers responded to a shooting call at a convenience store at the above address.  Upon arrival, they found Mr. Horsley who had suffered a gunshot wound to the leg while standing in front of the store.  Witnesses reported that two unknown black male suspects shot Horsley and then fled.
