Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 1200 West TC Jester about 2:20 a.m. today (March 20).

The female victim, 46, was pronounced dead at the scene.  Her identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant S. Maness and Officer R. Romo reported:

The victim was driving a blue Volkswagen Beetle southbound on TC Jester at the above address.  The driver failed to control her speed, struck a curb, and became airborne before striking a tree. 

Two passengers were transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in unknown conditions.

The investigation is continuing.
