Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man that occurred at 812 Maxey about 8:15 p.m. on Thursday (March 15).

The male victim, 18, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Rhodes and Detectives A. Vinogradov, D. Crowder and J. Pickett reported:

Officers responded to a report of a crash at the above address and found the driver (victim) had been shot multiple times following an altercation that happened at a nearby gas station.  The suspect is described only as a black male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and wearing a grey or green hoodie, black pants and a black doo-rag.
