Investigation into Shooting at 2600 Garden City Drive
June 27, 2018 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 2600 Garden City Drive about 2:40 p.m. on Tuesday (June 26).
The victim, Jermie Deshurn Richards, 32, was transported to an area hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening wounds.
HPD Major Assaults Unit Officers J. Russell and A. Le reported:
Mr. Richards and his friends were leaving the Garden City Apartments when an unknown male suspect pulled out a gun and fired at their vehicle. Richards, who was driving, was struck in the right shoulder. He was transported by Houston Fire Department paramedics to the hospital. No other persons were injured.
At this time, there is no known motive for the shooting.
