Investigation into Fatal Crash at 1500 Saint Joseph Parkway
July 31, 2018 - Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred at 1500 Saint Joseph Parkway about 12:10 a.m. on Monday (July 30).
The male victim, 47, was treated at Saint Joseph Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rodriguez and Officer R. Singleton reported:
The driver of a silver Nissan Maxima was traveling westbound at the above address when the sedan struck the victim, who was standing in a moving lane of traffic. The driver stopped, got out of the Nissan, and inspected it before getting back in and fleeing the scene.
The incident occurred in front of the Saint Joseph Hospital emergency room entrance. Medical staff came outside and treated the victim who died yesterday afternoon.
