Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 10580 Hammerly Boulevard
July 23, 2018 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 10580 Hammerly Boulevard about 7:45 p.m. last Friday (July 20).
The victim, Keith Johnson, 33, was pronounced dead at Memorial Hermann Hospital.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Dunn and Detectives J. Flores and L. Patterson reported:
Witnesses stated Mr. Johnson and a male suspect got into an argument that turned physical in a parking lot at the above address. The suspect left the scene, returned with a gun and then shot Johnson in the chest. Paramedics transported Johnson to the hospital. The suspect fled on foot.
Witnesses provided investigators a possible name on the suspect and described him as a black male in his mid 20s.
