Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 9998 South Main Street
July 12, 2018 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9998 South Main Street about 2:50 p.m. on Tuesday (July 10).
The victim, James Stewart, 42, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives R. Moss and E. May reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a reported shooting call at the Tweety's Diamond Inn hotel at the above address and found Mr. Stewart had been shot multiple times.
Surveillance video shows a possible suspect, described only as a black male, possibly in his mid 20s, with a skinny build, medium complexion and medium length hair. He was last seen wearing a green multi-colored long sleeve shirt and blue jeans.
