Investigation into Male's Death at 6124 Long Drive
January 29, 2017 - The death of a male that occurred at 6124 Long Drive about 6 a.m. today will be referred to a Harris County grand jury.
The identity of the male suspect is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Chebret and Detective K. James reported:
An unidentified male entered an occupied apartment while the family was sleeping. The wife heard the suspect inside the apartment and told her husband, who then got up and confronted him. Both men got into an altercation, at which time both were injured. HPD patrol officers and Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene Paramedics attempted to revive the suspect, however he was pronounced deceased.
The male's cause of death is pending an autopsy.
