Investigation into Shooting at 8400 Elrod
January 29, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a juvenile female at 8400 Elrod about 2:45 a.m. on Saturday (Janaury 27).
The victim, 16, suffered gunshot wounds to one of her legs and was transported to an area hospital to be treated for her wounds.
HPD Major Assaults Unit Officers S. Ragsdale and J. Hasley reported:
The victim told friends she was meeting another friend in the roadway at a residence near the above address. As she was in the roadway, the victim was shot at least twice. The suspect then fled the scene southbound on Elrod prior to police arriving on scene.
The suspect is described only as a Hispanic male, driving a white Chrysler 300 with a black grille.
