Investigation into Fatal Crash at 8650 North Houston-Rosslyn Road
January 29, 2017 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 8650 North Houston-Rosslyn Road about 3 a.m. on Saturday (January 27).
The identity of the male victim, 50, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Griffiths and Officer J. Glenn reported:
The victim was driving a silver Ford Crown Victoria northbound on North Houston-Rosslyn Road when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a light pole and a strip mall center sign. HFD paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
The investigation is continuing.
