Investigation into Shooting at 2303 West Tidwell Road
December 28, 2018 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man that occurred at 2303 West Tidwell Road around 1:40 p.m. on Wednesday (December 26).
The victim, Aaron Selders, 39, was transported to an area hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer A. Barker reported:
Mr. Selders and a friend were in an apartment complex parking lot at the above address when an unknown male suspect, driving a 2012 gold or tan-colored Cadillac Escalade, parked south of them near the dumpsters. The suspect exited his vehicle, stared at Selders and then threatened to kill him. The suspect pulled out a black, semi-automatic pistol and shot Selders in the right leg. The suspect left the location in his Escalade. The suspect then returned and struck Selders with the front of his vehicle and fled the scene a second time.
The suspect, known as "Pops", is described only as an older black male with a goatee and short hair. He works as a mechanic at an unknown location and is known to frequent the apartment complex at the above address.
