Update: Surveillance Video Released in Fatal Shooting at 8900 Scott Street
December 27, 2018 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male that occurred at 8900 Scott Street about 11:05 p.m. on Wednesday (December 26).
The victim was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Duncan and Detective E. Aguilera reported:
The victim was exiting a convenience store at the above address when he was approached by a male robbery suspect armed with a hand gun. During a struggle over the weapon, the suspect shot the victim and then fled on foot.
The suspect is described only as a black male, 20 to 22 years old, about 6 feet tall and wearing a black hoodie, black muscle shirt and black pants.
