Update: Suspect Arrested, Charged in Woman's Death at 10300 Ney
December 7, 2018 - Houston police have arrested a suspect charged in the fatal shooting of a woman found at 10300 Ney about 1 a.m. on Tuesday (Dec. 4).
The suspect, Guadalupe Toledo Vega (H/m, 37), is charged with murder in the 339th State District Court. A photo of Vega is attached to this news release.
Vega is accused in the shooting death of Morgan Sproles, 20.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants A. Turner and K. Meek and Detectives S. Overstreet and K. Elliott reported:
A passerby found the victim unresponsive lying in the street at the above address. The victim had sustained an apparent gunshot wound. Paramedics pronounced her deceased at the scene.
Further investigation identified Vega as a suspect in this case and, on December 6, was arrested and charged with murder.
