Investigation into Fatal Crash at 9000 Cullen Boulevard
August 24, 2018 - Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash at 9000 Cullen Boulevard about 9:30 p.m. on Thursday (August 23).
The identity of the deceased male victim, 52, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant E. Fendia and Officer M. Rios reported:
The victim was riding a bicycle at the above address at the intersection of Mallow Street when he was struck by a black sedan traveling north on Cullen Boulevard. The driver failed to stop and render aid and fled the scene. Other vehicles also might have struck the victim.
Paramedics transported the victim to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
