Investigation into Woman's Death at 8201 Southwest Freeway
August 10, 2018 - Houston police are investigating the death of a woman found at 8201 Southwest Freeway (South U.S. Highway 59) about 3:45 p.m. on Thursday (August 9).
The female victim, believed to be 20-28 years-old, suffered no obvious signs of trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity and cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Dunn and Detective L. Patterson reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to the above address after the victim was found wrapped in blankets and bedding in a motel room. Motel employees stated a two people, described only as a black male and a black female, were seen leaving the motel room with large trash bags. The pair told employees they would be returning to the room for one more night. They then left in a black Ford Fusion.
