Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 6111 Glenmont Street
Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a juvenile female and the wounding of an adult male that occurred at 6111 Glenmont Street about 4:15 p.m. on Sunday (April 15).
The identity of the victim, 15, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives D. Higgs, E. Wohlgemuth and E. May reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found a male and a female had been shot. The female was pronounced deceased. The male victim, 36, was transported to an area hospital and is expected to survive.
The suspects, described only as three to five males, fled the scene in a pickup truck of unknown make and model.
