Investigation into Fatal Crash at 11400 Beaumont Highway
September 26, 2017 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 11400 Beaumont Highway.
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant G. Hall and Officer J. Gaona reported:
The driver of a white Chevrolet pick-up truck was traveling eastbound on the Beaumont Highway pulling a trailer carrying a Bobcat front end loader when a problem with the trailer pulled it pulled his truck into oncoming traffic. The pickup truck then struck a black Chevrolet Blazer, traveling westbound, head-on. The driver of the Blazer was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck and a passenger in the Blazer were transported to area hospitals with non life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is continuing.
