Investigation into Fatal Crash at 5034 South Acres
September 25, 2017 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 5034 South Acres about 2:20 p.m. on Saturday (Sept. 23).
The male victim, 34, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant T. Tran and Officer O. Sulaiman reported:
The victim was driving a black Jeep Commander westbound at the above address when he left the roadway and entered a ditch. The Jeep went airborne, flipped over, and struck a wooden fence before landing on its roof.
No other motorists were involved in this incident.
