Investigation into Shooting of Man at 3300 Winbern
September 15, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 3300 Winbern about 11:30 a.m. on Thursday (Sept. 14).
The victim, Claude David, 37, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in stable condition.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Elsbury and Detective K. Elliott reported:
Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at the above address and found Mr. David on a sidewalk. He had sustained a gunshot wound. Investigators learned David had a dispute with at least one black male (suspect) that might have led up to the shooting.
