Investigation into Shooting at 11627 Sea Shore Drive
September 7, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 11627 Sea Shore Drive about 12:35 a.m. today (September 7).
The victim, Jonquell Rogers, 32, was transported to an area hospital with a non-life-threatening wound.
HPD Major Assault Unit Officers R. Montalvo and R. Watson reported:
Mr. Rogers and a friend were visiting Houston from Louisiana with a friend and were staying at his friend's sister's home. At some point, Rogers got into an altercation with the sister's boyfriend and was shot once in the abdomen. The suspect then fled the scene. Rogers was transported by Houston Fire Department paramedics to the hospital.
