Investigation into Shooting at 6306 Berkridge
September 5, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 6306 Berkridge about 9:10 a.m. on Sunday (September 3).
The victim, 28, was transported to Memorial Herman Hospital in critical condition.
HPD Homicide Division Officers T. Colbert and R. Ridel reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to the above address regarding a disturbance between two persons involved in a dating relationship. The victim left the residence with responding officers, then later returned and attempted to break into the residence. Fearing for her life, the female inside the home fired a gun and struck the victim. He was then transported by HFD paramedics to the hospital.
This case is being referred to the Fort Bend County District Attorney's Office for review.
