Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 5000 Van Fleet
September 5, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 5000 Van Fleet about 2:50 p.m. on Monday (September 4).
The victim, Max Dejuan Busby, 45, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Brady and M. Casso reported:
HPD officers responded to the above address and found Mr. Busby inside of a vehicle and deceased from a gunshot wound. According to witnesses, an unidentified female was seen shooting Busby and then fleeing the scene.
The suspect is described only as a black female.
