Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 7100 South Gessner
November 27, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male that occurred at 7100 South Gessner about 5:45 p.m. last Friday (November 24).
The identity of the victim, believed to be in his late teens or early 20s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Officers J. Fay and M. Arrington reported:
Officers responded to a report of a drive-by shooting at the above address and found the victim being treated by Houston Fire Department paramedics. The male was then transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Witnesses reported seeing a 2016 or 2017 black Chrysler 300 fleeing the scene after the shooting.
