Investigation into Woman's Death at 2200 Galveston Road
November 13, 2017 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a woman whose body was found at 2200 Galveston Road about 9:40 a.m. on Sunday (Nov. 12).
The victim suffered no obvious signs of trauma. Her identity and cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Miller and Officer C. Elder reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a report of a person deceased at the above address. Upon arrival, they met with members of Texas EquuSearch, who were searching the area for a missing person and discovered the victim. At this time, it is unknown if the deceased is related to the missing person case.
