Investigation into Shooting at 4000 Alvin
November 9, 2017 - Houston police have arrested a suspect charged in the shooting of a man that occurred at 4000 Alvin about 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday (November 9).
The suspect, Christopher Terrell Stevens (b/m, 24), is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and felon in possession of a weapon in the 208th State District Court.

He is accused in the shooting of Weston Sanders, 37, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the legs.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant T. Richardson and Investigators R. Watson and S. Ragsdale reported:
Witnesses saw Stevens and Mr. Sanders engaged in a physical altercation in which Stevens began beating Sanders repeatedly with his fists. Stevens then retrieved a handgun and fired multiple shots at Sanders at close range. Sanders was transported to an area hospital in stable condition and Stevens was arrested at his nearby residence without incident.
