Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 4700 Wenda
November 8, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 4700 Wenda about 7 p.m. on Tuesday (Nov. 7).
The victim, Christopher Robert Jackson, 40, was pronounced dead at Ben Taub General Hospital.
HPD Homicide Division Officers B. Thomas and R. Moss reported:
Officers were dispatched to a shooting in-progress call at an apartment complex at the above address and observed HFD paramedics tending to Mr. Jackson in the parking lot. Jackson suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.
At this time, there are no known witnesses or suspect(s) in the shooting.
